Your account

You need an account to contribute. Please give accurate details, keep your password private, and do not share your account with anyone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

What you contribute

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. By contributing you give us permission to store it and show it to other people using Keeb Kwm, and you allow the community to build on it — for example by linking your records into a shared family tree.

Only contribute material you have the right to share. Do not upload photos or documents belonging to someone else without their permission.

Respecting other people

Family history involves real people. Please add information about living relatives only with their permission, and treat sensitive details with care.

Do not post anything false, abusive, hateful, obscene or unlawful, do not impersonate anyone, and do not use the app to harass other members.

Shared records

Genealogy is collaborative. Records you add may be edited, corrected or extended by other members, and records added by others may connect to yours.

Edits to existing records may go through review before they appear, so that the archive stays accurate.

Moderation

We may edit or remove contributions that break these terms, and we may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do so.

If you believe something in the archive is wrong, harmful or shared without permission, contact us and we will look into it.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account in the app, or from your profile page on the website.

Your personal information is removed permanently. Genealogy records and cultural articles you contributed stay in the archive but are no longer linked to you, because other families' trees depend on them. This is explained in full in our Privacy Policy.

Donations

The app may show ways to support the project financially. Donations are voluntary, are used to keep the service running, and are not refundable.

Availability

Keeb Kwm is offered as it is, without any guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features at any time.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of information contributed by other members. Please verify family history against your own sources.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
